La crisi politica abcasa ha impatto significativo su un paese che è dipendente dal supporto economico-finanziario e militare russo e che vive un isolamento perpetuo a seguito della sua indipendenza ottenuta de facto nel 2008 a seguito della Guerra Russo-Georgiana.
